Acting Technique

A workshop based around you! The primary objective is for everyone to have fun and establish an understanding of acting technique. Here you will learn a variety of tools like script analysis, vocal exercises, character work and very importantly – how to create atmosphere. You will be working together, performing each day and working towards a sharing of work. This class is all about challenging yourself and expanding into new levels of performance.

Daniel Betty graduated from UNITECH with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts in 2001. He has a background in Theatre, Musicals, Film and Television and was involved with the event management company “CluedUp”. Daniel is on the board of NZ Drama Teachers Association and is very involved with STAGE, a Hawke’s Bay theatre education trust. Daniel teaches Drama and English at Havelock North High School.
