Documentary

Using traditional techniques of good ideas, inquisitive minds and careful investigation we will create our own doco from beginning to end. Be prepared to put in some work hard. We need editors, writers, camera operators and soundies. Subjects in the past have included a spoof on rugby, the return of the Messiah during the millennium and the TV Award-winning “Always Getting Wasted”. The theme of the doco in 2010 will be to investigate musical talent in the local community. Maybe we'll find some old time bluesmen or exciting young rockers lurking in the burbs of Hawke’s Bay.

Wellington based freelance documentary maker Julian Ward works for a variety of clients including education and professional dance. He always works in areas where the creative use of visuals & editing is paramount. He has tutored at NYDS for 14 years.
