Costs
Just what will your Drama School experience cost?
- Costs below are for 2010 and are indicative only.
- Course fees: the total cost for your course will be $415.00.
- Accommodation Costs: The cost of the hostel is $350.00, this includes breakfast, dinner and supper. Students in a billetting situation will be charged a flat fee of $55 for the week. This fee will be passed on to the host family in the form of grocery vouchers.
- Canteen: Canteen facilities are available during the school day. Cold drinks, fruit, pies, sandwiches and rolls etc. are available at a reasonable cost.
- Merchandise: The official school tee-shirt ($38.00) will available for sale from the school office.
- Photographs: The full school is assembled for a photograph early in the school week, this large photograph retails for $10.00 per copy and is available from the school office. Class photos are also taken and are displayed in the school foyer during the week. The class photos retail at $2.00 each and may be ordered at the school office.
- DVDs: There is just one DVD pack for 2010 covering the Sharings of Work and the Edited highlights.
- Medical Costs: The school has a first aid person for minor injuries. Students requiring professional medical attention will be expected to reimburse the school for any costs incurred.
- Evening Events: Students are required to attend several official evening performances / classes, these are compulsory and are included in the course costs.
- Pocket money: This is left to your discretion, it is recommended that students carry an EFT POS card in preference to large amounts of cash. EFT POS facilities are available at a nearby service station.
- Meals: Local and billetted students who have a distance to travel each day, may need extra money to purchase an evening meal from a local takeaway. Alternatively they could bring a picnic.
